Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to Japan visits Chiba University

H.E. Mr. Carlos Pere, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to Japan, visited Chiba University on April 18, 2022, to attend the signing ceremony for renewing the Academic and Cultural Partnership Agreement between Panama University and Chiba University.

The two universities signed the first agreement in 2016, and since then, they have deepened the partnership. With support from the Embassy of Panama in Japan and Dr. Ritter Diaz, former Ambassador of Panama to Japan and current Representative Director of JAPOLAC, Chiba University has been able to accelerate collaborations with universities in the Republic of Panama.

Mr. Eduardo Pitti Rivera, an alumnus of Panama University and a post-graduate student at the Graduate School of Horticulture, Chiba University, was invited to the ceremony and shared his campus life and research area. They also discussed further collaborations in the medical field and mobility between the two countries.
